About Me:

The Lord has overwhelmed me with his grace and mercy and I hope to tell others of His greatness.Biography:

My name is Lisa (Schubert) Goad. I grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of VA with 2 brothers and parents who taught me the truth of the Gospel from a young age. I met my husband in college and shortly after we were married I was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) a form of Dysautonomia. The Lord has been so faithful to us during this battle with a chronic illness. I hope to express this to others and encourage them to persevere in times of trial.

Hebrews 4:14

“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

I appreciate your website. I believe it is a testimony to the fact that one can be physically ill but happy if one is spiritually well. Jesus who suffered more than any of us ever will left a record of how to be happy while suffering. Praise God.
